I've had -18 offset on my car for quite a while now, and only one wheel bearing has started to go bad and thats because the fender isn't pulled enough on that side and my car always contacts the wheel. I've put it through track abuse, street abuse, road trips, and daily driving. Have 100k on the car now.

I guess mazdaspeeds have stronger bearings?:dunno:

^^ im not sure

Do any of you OG's know if tires would make a difference
if i was rocking less of a stretch and more of a square tire would that put more stress on the bearing?
The main thing causing extra stress on the wheel bearing is the increased distance from the point of contact of your wheel, to the wheel bearing. So I don't think having a more square tire is going to change things. You camber would be more important.
