I'm thinking of doing a 1.8 swap into my 92 and am wondering how hard it would be to use one of the BP turbo motors that you can get from corksport. I figured it might be a good starting point for a turbo setup using a Link ECU.

If yoiu can find a good engine go for it but keep in mind those protege motors are old. The only difference is the rods and lower compression pistons. So finding a used engine might be high on miles or very expensive. If you can find a set of aftermarket rods or a regular JDM protege engine you may able to same money. I am doing the Protege swap in my 1990. I bought my engine for $375.00 from alljapaneseengines.com

Good Luck
