Hello,

I'm selling my 1.8 motor and transmission out of my 95 miata. They both came out of my 95M with 100k miles on it. It was fully running and in great shape before I started my mildly built new motor with IRTB project. Motor has great compression, and transmission is in excellent shape.

Asking $500 for both or willing to trade for a set of nice wheel/Tires, Tein coilovers, or anything you think I might be interested.

The motor and tranny are located in Van Nuys.

sorry for a newb question
but i was reading that the 94-95 1.8L produce 128hp
vs.
the 96-97 1.8 which produces 133hp

are the power difference only due to that fact of obd1 to obd2
or do the blocks have different dimensions?

i have a 97 btw and looking to get a new longblock

The block and head is the same. The obII adds a little bit of horsepower and that is the only difference. it's definitely not a noticeable difference.

There are no physical differences between 94-95 and 96-96, the power gains come from the OBD2 computer being able to run leaner above 4.5k
