Hey guys,

I need to know where I can get a speed signal from off a 1990 JDM MX5 manual with no cruise control. I searched and some say off the clutch switch and some have run it off a wire coming from the back of the tach. I read that the wire out the tach is from cars with cruise control. Anyway where can I tap into to get some sort of vehicle speed?

Thank you
Ash

You can't, there's no digital wheel speed signal on a 90. And even of you had cruise control that is a vacuum controlled unit, does not rely on wheel speed
