Hi guys!

So Im new in the club, so long story short I got a shell Miata previous owner wanted to LS swap it but it didn't happen, the car was stripped down but i got most of stuff back on the car I found a used 1.6 w/ transmission got it in and now it cranks but wont start & no CEL light in the instrument cluster at all!.

At this point idk what to do. Electrical issue? Grounds? Bad sensors?

Any help pls I appreciate it.

theres a million variables knowing that the car has a new engine in. how have you checked for spark and fuel so far?

I know for sure im getting fuel, fuel pump works and i think i do have spark.
How can I be sure I have a strong spark?

but are the injectors firing? these engines arent too hard to diagnose,

if you have:
-cam timing
-ign timing
-spark
-fuel

then the car will run. youre missing one of those components, figure out which one and the rest is the hard part.

edit, i forgot compression. but that sortof comes along with cam timing.
