I have a 1991 miata but its super rusty so i was thinking about swapping everything into a rust free shell that i could pick up. Would all the wiring in the engine bay be the same and what about all the dash wires? Since my 91 dash would be going into the 92 would everything just plug in? New to miatas so im not 100% sure if everything would just plug in.

easier to just sell and replace. much, much easier. plus you wouldn't have any snc worries in the future.

Thanks for the replies. And yeah it may be easier to sell and buy a new one but that also costs more money.

Depends on your location really. Also if you consider the amount of time that you are going to spend working on it, unless you actually enjoy the process. Also make sure your 91 doesn't have a short/long nose problem to start with.

I bought the car to be a project car so i like working on it. Doesnt matter to me how long it takes either since i have another daily driver. Motor is good, currently has 93k on it.
