I need cash to continue renovations on my house, so it's finally time to sell my '94 - it's served me well. The car's A/C no longer blows cold (worked fine last fall, grr) and this could really affect its resale potential.

I have no experience with A/C systems, so if this is something i could potentially diagnose or repair myself, please feel free to enlighten me.

In the mean time I'm looking for recommendations for an A/C repair tech/shop in the NW Atlanta or downtown areas. Thanks!

Could be a simple o-ring replacement.
Depends on how it was acting during the last few weeks it was cold. If it lost its "cool" abruptly than it could be a compressor or other hardware.. but if it went out gradually and you heard the compressor working more (clicking on/off more) during it's last days.. a evap, few bucks in o-rings, and 30mins cracking/replacing the hard line rings would take care of it.
It's a simple system once someone demistifies it for you! :)
