Hey all,

I'd been considering some sort of center exit exhaust, but I was curious how well they worked. Are they noisy? Buzzy? Do they have a drone?

Which ones do you all use?

Thank you for the video! =D>

I know the turbo does do quite a bit to change the exhaust note. One of my friends had to run N/A for awhile after an engine swap because he also had to buy a new downpipe for his turbo. The FM Turbo single exhaust he had was LOOOOOUD until he put the turbo back on.

I think you have an exhaust fetish, Bryan. :) Those center exhausts look great, and very tempting.

Miata2NV, how is that exhaust with the turbo? Is it pretty hi-flowing or a bit restrictive? What type of exhaust did you swap from? Did it improve spool? I've been thinking of going with a 3-inch turbo-specific exhaust, but have not decided.

Thanks,
Ike

I guess I do, don't I? Now that I'm on track, I'm trying to balance lighter weight with an exhaust that I (read as Christy, then I) can actually stand for more than 20min at a time. As you well know, that journey has been long and hard...

i have the st.may shotgun. i got it used from ce28n and i think he'd agree with me that it has a great mellow sound and is actually rather quiet for a performance exhaust... i feel its only downside is that it hangs rather low; but my cars rather low. for the great look and sound taking driveways and speedbumps at an angle is worth it =D>
