Has anybody moved it basically right to the intake manifold, or at least closer to it than it is... successfully? Space seems kinda tight but I have nothing to do tomorrow so I might try it - if its at all possible.
The big problem you'll run into is that the AFM cable isn't long enough to get there, without lengthening the wires. The JR cold air intake kit comes with an extension, you might be able to do it with that, or you could lengthen all the wires.

yea, pictures are a lil dark, but its pretty much it, i used a HKS mushroom filter, and it floats right above the steering rack, i used the jackson racing afm harness(the whole intake came with the car, but that intake is sorta stupid) so from the throttle body to the afm is jacksonracing, and the pipe was from a S13 that my buddy cut up
