So call me dumb... But I've been searching both here and at M.net for a write up on installing a subwoofer in a Bose NB. However, I can't find anything.

Does any know of an article for the basics? Wiring diagram? Bypassing Bose amp? Running Bose amp for door speakers and second amp for sub?

Just need a little guidance before ripping the car apart to install. I have a Alpine amp and Alpine Type-R I'd like to install in the trunk since it's just sitting in the house.

I just gutted my NC with Bose to install complete new system. But on to your prob... Check with PACaudio.com for a module to plug in back of headunit to allow for installation of aftermarket amplifier to be controlled by Bose unit.. The rest is a matter of tearing apart your car and installing... Took me 10 hrs to do mine, but I gutted everything and replaced all Bose with Polk audio... Still waiting for my clarion headunit. Good luck with your install.... Mine was fun!
