The fender mirrors can be found in the U.S. There was a topic in the miata.net about this recently.

The doors can covered, welded and painted by a paint shop. That should be easy, Peter.... and your car will look more radical with these mirrors.

Also, do you have plans to do the rear PCR conversion?

I'll dig through my photo collection of Miatas for examples with wing mirrors.
I know what you're talking about but I was unaware that anyone sold block off plates specificially to cover the factory door mirror holes. I can't imagine they're hard to make and my guess is that most are one-offs due to limited demand. Or maybe they're the same plates used to mount aftermarket racing mirrors but without the mirror stalk attached?

I relocated my mirrors to the fenders, Peter. Didn't need to use a plate, just a bit of all-metal.

Although, one side is starting to "show" ever so slightly.

All the "traditional" mirrors on a Roadster you can shake a stick at; Austin Mini mirrors fitted to a fender.

But as for the plates; I just figured people made their own. I've seen some Roadsters coming in through the docks in Dublin with pretty shocking solutions; tin foil tape seems popular

The first link has a pic of the M2-1028 mirrors. That is nice!!!
