I hear that the grunion are running next week (18th-22nd). Anyone interested in heading out to the beach and taking in this sight? Maybe we could do it as a part of the KINOD? For that night, the KINOD could become the KINOG... :lol:

Which beaches does it come to? I watched it once at the beach near the aquarium in San Pedero. I wonder is it the best place to watch it again?

According to the link I posted above April and May are "Closed Season" which means only watching and not taking the fish

yea i went to hun. beach last time there a good bunch of those fishies i was there like 11 pm though and out of nowhere a bus full of japanese or chinese tourists young and old came out to grunion fish too! I wish i caught a much as they did...it was a battle i tell you!!! :shock:
