I just posted this in a similar thread...

"As for the OBX header, I have one on my '91 1.6. It's been on for 7 months (nearly 20k miles) without a single issue. Fitment is good, went in easy enough and still looks good today.

Concerning drone, the stock manifold used to drone between 3500-4200 rpm, or roughly 65-75mph which is where I cruise on a daily basis. With the OBX, that drone is now gone completely. There's also a quite noticeable power/torque increase in this range, from about 3200-5500 rpm. When cruising at 75mph, I can just punch it in 5th gear and the car will take off amazingly quick. Just about as fast if not the same as it used to in 4th gear and stock manifold.

Sure, it may be a cheap header, but it worked out pretty good for me performance-wise. It also improved my gas mileage which is the main reason I got it. I went from a consistent 29mpg to a consistent 31mpg, all logged with my GasCubby iPhone app. If I hypermile it, I can reach 42mpg."
