Interestingly enough, I rented a 2006 F-150 this past weekend to drive up to my parents' house because I am inheriting their old washer/dryer (thank God for hand-me-downs!). I pulled up next to an old Toyota Tercel when parking the truck, and sure enough, I could just BARELY see the roof of it on my passenger side!
Kind of an interesting change of perspective--literally, in my case. A side benefit of driving the truck was that I saw things from the highway that I've never noticed before. For example, if you are heading towards Columbus, OH on I-70 West, you'll find that someone has placed 5-6 old electric commuter car/trolleys at the edge of a field!
That's why I park at the END of the spot. I learned that from one of those little booklets for Minis lol. It said something about being "considerate to other drivers". I had never thought about doing that to be honest... even though I HATE it when someone with a Metro or equivalently sized car pulls alllll the way into a spot between bigger cars and you go to pull in and VOILA! A metro!
Anyways. My car looks little next to my NEON. And I'm stock height. Sad but true.
I know all of you read more than just one automotive board. Let's post up all those dope pics of cars that are saved in your computer. Regardless of make or style. If you think it's sweet, then post it up. I'll start.
Today I am bidding on a 1991 miata that has been written off. If I win the bid my plan is to build myself a winter miata because my 93 LE has been parked for a month now and I miss it. Living in northern Canada a Miata is not most peoples first choice for winter transportation. They are low...
Spawned by the SUV thread and my recent acquisition. Who else here rides? What do you ride?
Just got a 1996 Kawasaki Vulcan 500. It's such low mileage that it has not yet had its first scheduled maintenance done so it's currently in a few dozen pieces in my buddy's garage while we fix some...
Just a thread to keep people updated on what you've done(are doing) to your Roadster. Post pictures as well if you want. I'll go first.
Just installed a recently bought NB soft-top(glass window) on my NA8. So much of an improvement. Pictures soon.
