After a wrong shipment and a few emails I ended up with a set of canards from APR that are designed for the new dodge vipers. I initially received one miata canard and one viper one and thought that the viper canards fit better. As far as I know this is the first time anyone has fit these on a miata and I'm pretty happy with the results.

Fitment is less than perfect and the install is a bit of a guessing game. I played around with different positions and finally settled on what i thought was the best fit.

Had to cut away same plastic from inside the bumper.

They're $355 for the set but they hooked me up a bit because of all the shipping mistakes.

Any reason as to why you didn't get a set thru Rod at Tetsuya? He ships GV canards pretty well priced

I liked the look of these a little better and the miata set I was supposed to receive was only $225. I was buying the apr mirrors through slick auto and liked the canards so I ordered a set. I think its cool too that no one else has these so it just makes my NA a little different.

You should get a custom spitter too, but it would probably create more drag than downforce haha

hah yea I've thought about the splitter but thats a little overkill for a car that rarely sees the track. I think it would ruin the GV lip anyway. I'm considering spending a little time designing a diffuser though...mostly for looks:fab:
