I was talking to Mike at AK a few months ago and he said he was going to make some NB rear quarters. At first I didn't take him seriously but after looking at the teaser shot on their website, I think it's going to happen. Anyone have an inside look or a pic please post or discuss.

Here's the link. Teaser is on homepage.

Yeah my rear quarters could use it. I'm going to call Mike again and bother him for info. Maybe we can do a poll and beg him to make something like these

Dliverance- They already make something like that for Nbs, have you not seen the NB widebody? Both the NA and the NB widebody are 40mm, I don't see what different you would want. The NB kit is far nicer too.

Oh okay, you posted up the NA widebody, which can't even fit a stock front bumper.

You could probably ask them for the just the rear and sides of the NB widebody.

They sell just the front of the NA if asked.

I just got off the prone with him again. He said the blister fenders will only be for the front right now because he doesn't have a car to design the rear quarters on at the moment. He also said there might not be enough interest to make the rears because only a few sets might be sold. :(

You say ew to a picture that is not even close to done. Have you seen any more of mikes work.

I am here to post interest in the front and rears. I would love to run 17x10s on my miata and with these it will be a lot easier to pull off. And will allow for more tire.

There are a **** load of 17 tire options and I don't have the skill to do the work to stock fenders like deliverance did.

If the rears are a Full overlay to where it looks like a stock body but pulled kinda like 240 sx ones I'm very interested.

In my opinion that would really set the nb miata off. Make it look like an fd but better.

Autokonexion give us some more pictures and a Full on front. And possibly some more details or what it would take for the rears.

Think about 17s and meaty tires or really clean flush with 30mm over fenders on a nb.

Who can photo shop

Grant,
Sorry to hear "again" of your troubles. I sent you pictures of a properly installed GT kit to help you with your install when you emailed me. I even took pictures of it with tape measure to show you how even left and right are when installed right. I'm not sure how much experience you have on fiberglass but if you really hate the kit, there is a lot of bolt-on flares out there that might work for your set-up, not just ours. I remember you sent me pictures of how you installed the kit wrong and when I said it was wrong, you we're complaining of how much holes you drilled on to your car already just fitting the kit. If you know fiberglass, you would have test fitted the parts first to get the right fit and marked it before you start drilling holes. Another thing that would have helped you is heatgun. How thick do you want the fiberglass? I also think we are not the only option you have. Maybe just for your budget but, "options", you said you are always in Japan. I'm sure you can find more options there. To tell you the truth, I really like how your car turned out but, what I don't get is, your insult does not end. It's been almost 2 years.

mike, i would not sweat what he says. Some people will complain. You cannot make everyone happy, And while i love grants car and he seems to be a good guy. Its not going to suite everyone.

i worked at a body shop and i understand that unless it is a oem body part, well its going to take some work.

So back to to subject at hand. mike you have now seen this thread and i am requesting more pictures of what you have. i dont car if its ugly i am just curious. As i have said i love the idea of a oem looking fender that is just bulged front and getting over the rears would be awesome.
