I bought a set of BBS wheels from a gent in the Atlanta area who said they were off a 93LE. Not so, I found out when I tried to fit better Miata BBS wheel caps. An Internet "buddy" has tentatively IDed the wheels as coming from a German car (common name that escapes me at this moment, Audi?). Does anyone know of a BBS wheel cap chart using the numbers on the back of the cap to ID the wheels/cars they are from?

you wouldn't use the cap.. you'd use the stampings in the metal...

for example, by looking at this you can tell it's a bbs rs243, at which point you do a good search if you care enough to find out what it came off of.

I actually have a set of BMW 'basketweave' BBSs and a set of 90-93 SE/LE BBSs in my shop, and the caps APPEAR to be identical. If you'll come up to Huntsville you're welcome to try either set of caps out.
