looking at getting a front shock tower brace here soon.

None of them will make a huge difference tbh...but a 3 point bar that also bolts to the firewall is your best choice

You are much better off putting that money towards door bars. If you don't want door bars, which are superior, than get frame rails, like the stainless ones from Flying Miata.

The door area needs to be reinforced to increase the chassis torsional rigidity. It is the weakest link. All other braces are missing the problem with this chassis. No sense in stiffening sections of the car if it can twist right down the center.

It won't make you faster, and since you have an NB, you won't notice much in the way of NVH improvement like you do in the earlier models.
