+1whats the difference between this and an oem hardtop just curious?
Don't it? If I remember right the Snugtops had smaller, rectangular windows.Looks like an OEM HT :dunno:
The difference is that its not OEM. Not Spec Miata Legal, may not be a perfect fit, will not keep its value like oem parts. If you are looking for a hardtop just to have a hardtop than this is perfect for you and i would be all over it. GLWS
False. You can't just plug and play an OEM latch to a snugtop hardtop without some pretty extensive modification to the snugtop. If someone is looking to purchase this hardtop, I'd suggest talking with Garagestar for snugtop brackets.well i guess most the questions been answered... but i dont see a big difference betw the oem and the snug top, and yes its the latch that's stupid, but u can always take the one from your soft top and replace it to the hard top, the miata is my weekend car, usually i drive with top down, so i been taking it on n off i felt that i dont need the ht anymore, price are nego
thanks for pointing that out, i didnt try that myself i thought it would work, and as for the garagstar brackets, i do have a set, forgot to mention i'll throw that in with the deal as well to cover the latches issueFalse. Snugtops appearance wise are just like OEM hardtops. Differences would be the latches, headliners, and sometimes the weather stripping. I've had a snugtop before, fitment was decent, but had to adjust it to get it just perfect.
