Anyone know of any body kits for a 1995 miata that will make it look like an RX7?
Thanks, Lance

It is amazing how closed minded some people are on m.net

Sorry, but that's gotta be one of the strangest questions I've seen on here. If you want an RX7, why not just buy an RX7? "
Hans, you are still a dork!! Hahaha No wonder you got kicked out of our local Miata club. hahaha =D> Hater

Why would you want your car to look like every other car on the road, why do you think there are SOOO many different car manufactures? And so many different aftermarket tuners?

PhatMiata
BECAUSE STOCK SUX
Yeah...old Hans has never been opinionated...and besides, he knows best. *snicker*
lol nice link bp. ive seen that nose on a few others around the net, went on a spree going through like a bajillion NA's one day on cardomain and saw a few. personally i plan to buy a FC or FD at some point in the future, but ill opt for the real thing than a kit
Crazy round-eye, FD aftermarket parts from Japan are insane in pricing.

Stay with RoadStar for the win!

while this doesnt use rx7 signal and fog lights, Ive always thought it has a rx7 aftermarket bumper type look. plus its just plain badass on the miata, isnt that right Phat.

+1 Boogie!

BTW, that nose requires cutting your bumper I believe - bad ass kit tho.

Why do you guys bother to throw them bones? You know they won't appreciate em anyway
darn whipper shnappers always wanting to be different....back in my day we always drove stock cars and that's the way i liked it dangnabit
I have to honestly ask if there wasn't a troll being fed. After all, the OP in both threads hasn't replied once...

Agreed 110%, i rarely post there anymore, if someone is honestly looking for real info, i just send them a private message to a link here. Dont get me wrong, I like that board, i just dont like the negative attitudes on there.

well I did send him a PM for miata.net and he replied to that, I was referring him to this fine forum.

Now if you'll excuse me, I do believe I just shot myself in the foot. 8-[
sorry phat,
I just found this thread.
I have stoped posting on m.net for the most part because of this kind of stuff.

Back to the matter at hand,
You could put rx7 turnsignals in your bumper like speedworks did. Its alot easier than making a rx7 bumper fit you car.

And i will not be selling my bumper any time soon, But once i get the Vary GT fender kit i will modifing the bumper to work with the rest of the kit.
hey everyone, will the rx7 turnsignals really fit in my bumper, and does anyone have any pics of what that looks like?
yes, you can make the FD RX-7 JDM front turn lenses fit the miata front bumper as long as you have a fiberglass front bumper and have the time and patience to make it all work together.

its not easy, but very doable.

see my cardomain site on page 4 for some pics of my front with the FD lights. i have a custom fiberglass front bumper though.

thanks
alex
What type of modifications would be needed if i were to put an rx7 front bumper on my car (would it be possible for me, a 16 yr. old?)

Also, are the stock miata bumpers made of fiber glass?
Anything is possible with enough time, skill, and resources. You will need to do body work to custom fit the lights. They will not be a direct fit. Budget a few hundred dollars for the lights alone and another $500+ to have someone else enlarge the hole, smooth the body work (fiberglass and bondo) and paint plus whatever the bumper itself costs. You're looking at $500 in expenses if you do everything yourself to your oem bumper or >$1000 if you pay someone else to modify an aftermarket bumper for you.
