M2-1002 overhaul continues.
I'm having issues getting the bonnet to align correctly; the leading edge pulls down too far when closed. I've looked at adjusting the bonnet catch, and the bonnet hinges, to no avail. Anyone got any tips about this. Its pretty frustrating.
The bonnet catch is secured in place by two bolts on the slam panel, and a fixed stud and nut that passes through a bracket mounted to the slam panel. With the two bolts, there is a far amount of play, but less so on the stud. Is it worth ovalling the hole through which the stud passes?
