have a popping noise, found on caliper bolt loose, tightened it up. drive the car, noise still there. pull wheel, find this

this cant be normal. i tq the wheels to 100 ft/lbs

noise started after i installed new rotors ( napa stock rotors ) and PF pads. suggestions?

edit: only happens on initial application of brakes, and it only pops once. until the next time i need to use the brakes. does not matter if i am playing with the car or driving normally

holes are oval. they're not supposed to be.
Either way, with the wheels torqued down it shouldn't matter.

more on the caliper bolt being loose? why? is the cage torqued down?

studs are oem im assuming. i bought the car with 163k miles over 2 years ago, i have never changed the studs. im guessing its the rotors as well. ill get a new front set and see what happens.

as far as the caliper bolt being loose, i dont know. possibly i didnt tq it back down when i changed the brakes. i went and checked all the other bolts, everything is tight.
