H'OK.

so, right now i've got slotted rotors with bendix import quiet pads.

i cooked them really bad at GMR, so i need something a little stronger.

any recommendations that wont be terrible for street use?

yeah porterfields are cool, my dad used to run those on his porsche, but he switched to pagid orange.

i still kinda want something a little more street oriented.

I use axis ultimates on both of my miatas. They are quiet and are awsome on the track/autocross. The only downside is the dust. Probably due to the slotted and crossdrilled rotors.

My Cobalts were nice, and if they're like the Ultimates (which they were supposed to be), you could do a LOT worse :)

napa economical pads :)

when i bought my miata it needed new pads and rotors bad
so i got all four pads and rotors from napa for under 70 dollars

before i bought them i read a few reviews over on .net and they seemed to be good
next time i need to change my pads im going to swap to 1.8 rotors/pads

I run the Hawk HP Plus on my '95 with slotted rotors and while the squeal some in normal driving and they do dust more than I like to see..they are great at speed and under hard use of canyon driving in SoCal..they smell a bit when really hot but don't smoke and they stop beautifully
