so yeah just some fyi for yah.....if you place a order and it does not ship out you cant cancle till after 4 weeks have passed since you placed the order....also dont order a supercharger kit from them unless you talk to them and find out how many people are infront of you and then add 2 weeks to the date the say just so you dont get your hopes up. but they are really helpful and friendly plus they have the live chat feature and that is really cool.

I sincerely doubt that those issues will remain once they really get things rolling. BRP seems to always be on the up and up. At least they were willing to be up front with you :)

Noah,
Just to keep you (and anyone else interested) in my experience, I ordered on 6/29 and just yesterday my shipping status changed from "Within 2 weeks" to "Shipping within 1 week". Not holding my breath, but absolutely keeping my fingers crossed. I'll repost when I get the shipment to my door.

Just a note, that I also ordered an IC, that was backordered, so that might have contribute to a later shipment date for me. Hopefully yours will arrive soon too!

things have taken a turn for the worst for me......i talked to bryant on july 24th about canceling my order and he said it would be taken care of and i would be emailed letting me know my money had been refuneded. i never got the email so i emailed them on july 30th to see what the deal was and never got a response from them by this time i was pissed. july 31st rolls around so i call them.....no answer so i left a voice mail and no one returned my call. august 1st i call and talk to joe and he takes a message saying "brant is out of the office" and that he would call me back....no one calls so as of right now my order says cancled yet BRP still has my money and i cant get brant to talk to me

August 4, 2006

BR Performance & Stage One Tuning will be closed for approximately 2-3 weeks starting today. We are doing this in an effort to catch up on our back log of orders, finish up our S2000 and NC project and re-organize the company in order to improve our customer service. During this time we will only be available via email for tech support and customer service issues. We will not be accepting new orders during this time, but we will continue to ship orders that received prior to 8/4/06. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

dont even bother calling them they turned the phone off

Heard about that too. I agree with what markp said on m.net, victims of their own success (if that is what it is). They lost one man and to a shop that small is a huge hit. I figure if you can't get your money back the civilized way, sick the CC company on them.

Since you're not in CA, not sure if MS requires CARB, but I'd look at FFS now or wait and see what Moss will have to offer soon. On the BRP forum it seems like everyone having problems is 01+, but those with older models are perfectly happy. Remember, the dissatisfied customers seem to post twice a day, and then the happy ones usually drive off never to post a happy thought again.

I'm gonna stick it out for the next 3 weeks and see what happens. Not like we haven't waited this long anyway... I hope you'll be happy with it if/when it comes if you decide to stick with it.

Honestly, I think they took on too many projects at once with the S2000 and now the Mini Cooper. FM tried doing a Protege wing and they ended up closing it because they felt it was more than they could manage. I think that ended up a prudent business decision. It may have upset the small group of "Flyin' Protege" followers who were gathering interest, but you have to tend to your primary group first. Hopefully that is what they're trying to do with the shutdown.

If you've ever been in tech support, a quick 10 minute call can easily turn to 90 minutes and I can see why they did it, even if it's not the easiest decision in their current state.

Keeping my fingers crossed.
