Going back to barn door lights and having issues getting the barn doors to go up and down. Since BSP is no longer around and I don't have a NA to make a comparison to, I'm dicked. Can't get the lights to go all the way up and all the way down... they just keep acting like the BSPs.

They droop...

I've made the stopper nut adjustments; however, when I pull them upright I end up with this...

Can someone please take a quick photo of their OEM barn door brackets?

In the photo, the barn doors are fully 'up' but there is no way to get the bracket on the spindle. Only way to get them to line up is to lower the light back to droop status.

Did BSP lights have a different bracket or am I just fucking stupid?!? And if I'm stupid, I'm two days into this kind of stupid...

maybe different actuator rod lengths? measure yours and ill reference off my car for you.

edit: not the rod, the Z bracket you have pictured. that might be smaller.

+1 i think its the Z bracket.

Yep. ShadowMX5 finally found a google pix... The z bracket is shorter for the BSP kit. Off to Home Depot...

I recently sold my BSP low-pro's to switch back to barn doors, too.

I was afraid of what parts I could reuse, etc...so I just bought two complete headlight assemblies

Thanks... ShadowMX5 and I tried to get goats to die by staring at them LOL... Not a commonly photographed part so Google took a while to finally show the Z bracket.
