I realized that I hate my old Moss Motors pretend leather wrapped chrome shifter. My friend, Trent, mentioned that he had a couple spare shift knobs from back in his Honda days, and that I could have whichever I wanted. One Spoon titanium, and one Buddy Club natural. Although I do love titanium, I opted for the Buddy Club one on account of the feel.
Since the thread for the SiR shifter is different than the one for the Roadster, we took a reamer with a drill and fucked up the threads on the shifter because they are aluminum. We couldnt get it all the way on this way, so we went to plan B, and took a spin down to Canadian Tire to get a drill bit so we could drill it out. Now it actually threads onto my shifter, so now I am the proud owner of a free custom fit Buddy Club shiftknob. Sits a bit tall, but its easier to reach and looks better than the old one.
