Tried a driver cam last month at Buttonwillow when I was offered a chance to test Justin Ross's Garage Star Miata. Not sure I like it, but I might try it again. This is at Buttonwillow Raceway Park near Buttonwillow, CA. CCW #1 course, not the typical 13CW time attack course. This was just a few laps, it's an HPDE type day so no cool passes or anything, was just trying feel out the car for Justin a little and help him with set-up for his time attack event the next day (which he won). Car is quick, but it's a handful. Suspension is very stiff for a bumpy track like BRP, the differential is an incredibly aggressive 2-way, and the V710's we were running weren't in prime condition by any means. Sure was fun trying to keep the rear tires under the car though with over 130whp and less than 2000lbs of weight. I enjoyed the challenge.
