I was thinking this but if I tried it with my pit it'd be off his back and in his mouth instantly. Or he would try to run away from it because he is scared.

For a larger dog, like 20-30lbs and up, I say just get the chest mount and try using that.

For my dachshund I have him wear his life vest (terrible swimmer, wears it kayaking) and I use the vented helmet mount. I just need to figure out a way of stabilizing it. I took hours of footage, and not much of it was very stable haha.

I'll try and get a better pic up of what his getup looks like
