i saw this console in Kyle L 's build thread, and i cant find too much info on it. its a bit pricey, but it seems WICKED convenient, and i'm very interested in it. i hate driving with the center console open to have a cup holder. i was wondering how this would match up with an NB1 miata, and if anyone has done it?

thats wild do you think it could work? i know the nb1 and nb2 consoles are interchangeable but i've never seen anything on na8 to nb1/2.

Relatively speaking it is quite a bit more expensive, after all the redesigned console offers more storage space in addition to two cup holders, which would cost you $140 for your little gadget there and still no place for your change and sunglasses...





I like the Germans and their take on cup holders.

I've owned and used one of these.
They're not so great.

First of all, you're going to have to chose between a comfortable interior temperature or a cold/warm/hot drink.
Secondly, with that thing on, you can forget about repositioning that particular vent.

what? i thought the dash was the same 99-05? i was running a 05 dash and a 00 console it looked fine.

Storage? I'm finding the best price for a Nakamae center console for my NA. I'm with the Germans, in my hand or in in the trash...each to their own I guess

i think the nb2 console is the simplest of solutions, i just really like the style of the console in post#1. any chances someone has both an NA and NB and can measure the console differences? or find diagrams of both sizes?

No, an NA console will not fit correctly in an NB. You'll have the opposite of the problem H_C described, it'll interfere with the dash.
