I just picked up my 2000 Miata and it has:

Blisten Shocks
Limited Slip Diff
Front/Rear Sway bars
Hard Dog Roll Bar

Right now the car is comfortable but still looks like a 4x4




For daily driving, which coilovers would be best for the Miata? Basically, best bang for buck

Read through some threads in the suspension section. I know theres a few on the first page about the megan ez streets as well as some others. Do a search too, theres loads of information on this site (and others) about affordable coilover setups. I'm sure you'll find everything you want to know in 15 minutes with a little googling and searching.

I basically want to eliminate any wheel gap and not have rubbing issues if taking a sharp turn. Sooner or later I'll be getting wheels.

For example, this is what my GTO Looks like, lowered right to the top of the tires

Best bang for buck would be megan racing EZ streets, hands down. Nothing but good reviews and cheap. ebay has them for 690 shipped. A lot of guys on here use them and like them a lot

Don't waste your money with racelands as they are slamfriendly, but not ride or longevity friendly

Uh, they're soft and there are plenty of folks running around with them for extended periods of time. Why do you think your Chinese knockoff coilovers are somehow superior to them? 8k/6k will be stiffer than the Racelands, that's a fact.

I have cusco zero 1s and can't complain. Spring rates are something like 5 and 6? Rather mild but its my daily. I sometimes go for moutain runs and they're perfectly fine for that. However one day I'll upgrade my sway bars etc.

Oh, not sure how much they go for though

I can vouch for the megan EZ streets, I havnt had any problems with them and theyr definitely stiff enough to do any hard driving you might want to do, but not to stiff to be uncomfortable daily driving. I dont have any experience with any other coilovers though, but most people say racelands are soft, and bouncy if you slam them. Since you have bilstein shocks though, ground control sleeves probably aren't a bad choice.

I would probably go with the EZ's if you are being budget minded. Seems like lots of people have been pleased with the hardware provided at the price point. If you can splurge a bit more Flex can be set up real comfy/sporty for daily use.
