Chevy swaps are very common in jaguars. Not very crazy.


Craziest **** I have seen is with Volvos. Big ol' grandma's car that happens to be good for rally racing. I've seen Ferrari V12 engines, BMW M5 engines, turbocharged LSx engines, 2JZ..............and this. I saw this today.

i mean lt5. what other gen II sbc would be worth the trouble?

Theres just nothing really easy about a lt5. There a general bastard of a motor with no performance backing. Way better off building the lt1 or just save the hassle and go lsx

Ya the craziest motor swaps I have ever read about are always in UK/Europe, especially the latter. I read a article that was just about crazy swaps done I Europe and I was dumbfounded at their ingenuity.:smile9:

Pick any car engine you want and it will probably fit into a Miata. And if you factor the engine being free, it will also cost you at least $10K to shovel it into a Miata.

I was thinking ford 5.4L, like from a '99-04 navigator being that's the same engine from the gt500's but then i was like, wait that's a HUGE engine and idt it would fit, literally
