One of my mates has a complete Racing Beat exhaust system for his NA Miata (headers + midpipe + muffler). He would reduce a bit the dB level by fitting a packed baffle insert or somethink like a dB-killer used in motorcycles silencers.

Any idea on how to do it? The inner diamter of the Racing Beat is 65mm (~0,25inch) and 57mm (~0,22inch) and has an oval tip. He thinks to use a 40mm (0,156inch) inner tube...will be ok?

Any suggestion? Thanks.
