To anyone who may be going to DG - I am not 100% sure if R&S is coming to cover the event now, but the good news is that I will be submitting my monthly report to the magazine and they are interested in a club story on Club Roadster - so make sure your roadsters are shined, modded and done to the nines (for photo opportunity).

We'll get photos and bios of anyone who is there from the forum and I'll get it submitted.

More info as soon as I get word...

Sweet. I've been busting my hump trying to get the car ready but I think my schedule may have been a bit too optimistic. Without a paint job my car is just another red Miata with some mods but I'm hoping to get just enough unique things done to make it stand out in a crowd.
Suhweeet, Peter!

This sounds awesome!

I'll be getting my car shined up for sure!
You mean Junior might actually make print?!
Pick me please!!! I have always wanted to be in a magazine. This is my big chance Peter. It would make my day!!!!! Caleb(frosty115)R
I'm def. making the trip to the gap this year!
Would you guys like to have an official "ClubRoadster.net" meet at z'Gap?
We could meet at my pad at Fontana Village if you wish.
Perhaps a Saturday meet would be best, say 10am.

Sound good?
I'm down for that!

I also have a cabin at Fontana.

Who else is staying at Fontana and who is staying at Tapoco?

I'll be meeting with folks from one of my other forums at exactly that time over at Tapoco (which is where I'm staying). Any chance we couldn't make it Noon?
I'm staying at the camp grounds at Fontana, I was also going to suggest a campfire and some beers perhaps Saturday night if no one has plans. Nothing big, but you're more than welcome to drop by anytime! Look for the big Team Drag Spec banner closest to the dam.
Our club does lunch at noon (ish) on Saturday... but we'll figure something out!

DRFT MX5 - the county is dry, so buy before you get there!
Rich...you gonna have the VC done by then? I'm really interested in seeing the whole thing in person!
I think I am in cabin next to Rich at Topocco - Todd Kawana will be staying with me (contributing editor and photographer to R&S) and he has an RS Aizawa engine in his BRG. I am down for anything - but we may want to coorindate an area for photos (by Todd) as well as individual pictures of all your cars. Will also need whoever is interetsed in being in Road&ster to provide me with a one sheet on your name, location, year/model, mods, etc....I can get all this from you at the Gap.

I am going to try and get us a spread in a future issue under the CLUBROADSTER.NET club name - so it wold be VERY cool if someone could come up with a produced banner for this (photo op).

I have someone here at work to do a banner as well.

Tim - can we get the approved (future approved) logo in an .AI file for the banner?

-Peter
I was just thinking about a banner. Chris was saying he was going to hang a "Team Drag Spec" banner at his campsite and I was thinking that I should have a Club Roadster banner. As soon as we're settled on a logo I'll try to get a banner made up.

I'd love to be in, if it's possible!
Yeah! As soon as we get the logo finalized, the correct file type will be provided so we can get a banner made up!

Also, because fo the time contraints, I'm hoping that I can at least get t-shirts and stickers made in time to bring them to the Gap for members that will be there, with a subsequent shipment after I return.

Btw, I met Todd at the R-Speed Open House last year. Super nice guy and nice car!

He noticed all my JDM goodies in my car and took a couple pictures of my AWD/KG Works cluster so he could send them to Dewa-san! He knows Dewa-san!
I'm soooooooo jealous

... maybe R&S in Scotland next year :?
How's the scenery at Tapoco up by their conference hall? Anything decent up there for a photo op?
Rich - that may work - there are some KILLER roads and hills at Tuskeegee or near this area....so who knows. I am open to anything. Daybreak would be best so that the dark olive tones come out in my smile ;-)
