I have rennen on my white NA too. Cool looking for the price! The tow truck driver thought it was cool too:)
I have the mazdaspeed ones that im waiting to get powdercoated. Really want the aluminum carbing ones though. Thanks for the great list. Stuff like this is one of the reasons i love this thread so much.

that means its actually functional? haha.
hmm i was thinking of getting tow hooks too but can it support the weight of the whole car if i had to get pulled out of a ditch?
Now those pics got me thinking... Does it matter which side the tow hook is on? Should it be on the same or opposite side of the driver?

FYI, this Horizontal version of the Okuyama/Carbing is no longer in production. I tryed to order one 2 years ago.

This REAR version is for the NB models ONLY.

Also the RS-Factory Stage is Anodized Aluminum (had one and sold it to Eli), where as the Okuyama/Carbing are Powdercoated Steel. Okuyama makes them for Mazdaspeed Japan too. I ordered both sets (Okuyama and Mazdaspeed Japan) to see the difference, and they are the same, with nearly identical part numbers too.

The Nielex are like artwork, i had them on my car for a month and took them off because they look better on a dark color Miata, (more contrast, right Mike) and im currently running the Red Okuyama/Carbing Rear, and Red Okuyama/Carbing Front.

I dont have any 1st hand experience with the SheOnMe, Pit-Inn's (most likely made by Okuyama) and no experience with the Beatrush, Advance Auto, AWR, or USDM Mazdaspeed Motorsports versions as of yet.

Ok Ok I feel stupid for asking this but I was wondering how most of you go about ordering parts from these .......co.jp companies. Do you use paypal and let it convert the amount or do you find dealers in the states to order them for you?

For the Japanese parts you can check with Metro Motorsports, R-Speed, Adrenaline Racing, and i even think Rev9Autosport.com was looking into importing some? Maybe a group buy is in order, hahaha. Call them on the phone, as most of them wont list these parts on their websites as there are just too many parts for our little Roadsters in Japan. But most of them will special order parts no problem.
Most times you won't go direct unless you're already friendly with the shop owners. If you see something you like please patronize our ClubRoadster.net sponsor vendors. RSpeed, Metro Motorsports, Adrenaline Racing, and MiataRoadster either have them in stock or can special order them for you. These businesses are here to support you and are worthy of your hard earned cash.

Weird that they haven't updated their site. I'll contact them to see whether the horizontal tow hook is available again or if their site is outdated.

This REAR version is for the NB models ONLY.
Is this because the factory rear tie down hooks on NB models are welded in placed instead of bolted like on NA? What fitment issues prevent the short rear tow hooks from being used on NA? And for that matter, I suppose the long rear tow hooks that replace the factory tie downs are not compatible with NB?

Correct, NB hooks are welded in the rear, so (on the GOOD KITS) there is a little spacer that mounts inside that hook, and then a plate to either side of the hook in order to mount that hook. That eliminates movement if pulled UP like from a tow truck, so that it wont F'up your rear bumper. Ill show you what im talking about when you come down for Turkey-Day, i still have a rear NB hook here.
anyone have pics of the rennen hooks on there car, they are actually in my price range
Leni, when you gona get some more BeatRush Rear Strut bars in stock??? for the 89-97 Miatas? I sold my 1st one and never got around to buying another one.
Also found some farting around with the search engine.

Randy, can you supply any details about the oem Mazda or Mazdaspeed (Japan) tow hooks like the ones used on the NR-A?

Last time i checked you can still order them Mazdaspeed Japan, or a local Mazda dealer in Japan, they are made for the NB, so only the front tow hook will fit on NA's versions like yours and mine Kyle, but i would have to say the Mazdaspeed NR-A version is the best Rear tow hook on the market for the NB models, as all the other look as if they could screw up your rear bumper if the car is pulled in the upward motion as there is nothing stopping the weight of the car from moving the hook on that pivot point. I guess i need to take pics of the Mazdaspeed vs. the competition so you can see what im talking about on the NB models.

As far as the NA version, they are all very similar. just go with what you like.
