I saw this SR-S N1 for sale in ebay. I am thinking of changing the exhaust to a little more "sporty" sound and look. My son had an Apex N1 installed in the car for a while, but it was incredibly loud even with a silencer and a glasspack added in the middle it was too loud... Is this likely to be the same?

^ I actually think that is the Tsudo Ebay exhaust, not the Topspeed.
yeah they are not the same exhaust. i bought the srs n1 last week and installed it. it's quiet. in my opinion too quiet. i think the topspeed is louder so if you check the thread and watch videos, it won't be as loud as that. the resonator in the piece after the cat is probably the main reason in the volume difference. that's what the topspeed does not have.

Tsudo N1 exhaust is super quiet. Topspeed exhaust is "get you moving violations everyday" loud (but you can install a gay silencer). Both piping sizes are the same. Just the Topspeed uses only one small bottle resonator before the huge canister.

I ended up ordering this exhaust I hope it works out well for me. Anyway, I also got this muffler. And maybe the pipe off the one I ordered will work with it too and give me another option.

you ordered the srs n1. they're all the same pretty much. the only good thing is that you got it for 35 bucks less than i did. i'm a little disappointed......
Really? I could not recognize it as the SR-S N1. I thought it looked a bit differently but I believe you. I thought is was a hell of a deal considering it even included shipping .
Most of the time a pay more for everything. It's nice to score a good buy every now and then. Do you think it's a decent enough exhaust?

Any sound clips of it yet?
I will post some sound clips as soon as I install it. For now I must wait for it to make its way from Cali to Atlanta.....

What exhaust is this one? OBX?

I really don't know. I had an OBX in the car years ago but my son removed it. I cant remember if it looked like this. When my new exhaust comes in, I might try to mate this muffler to it for comparison purposes.

That's good to hear! I saw a few clips on you tube and I think it sounds pretty good as well. No too noisy either. I hope it works out well with my particular car.
