I have am almost done completing my 1.8 swap but have a few left over wires that im wondering where they go. Any help to what to do would be excellent. I am using the 1.6 harness.

Pretty sure the green one if from the back of the engine(temp sensor?) on the 1.6 but there in no connector there anymore. Any i.d. or where they go would be nice
They are from the fuel rail harness and located on the passenger side on the engine near the firewall.

Pretty sure its the fan relay that is on the 1.6 thermostat but want clarification. Also ground it out so the fans are on?
This is location right in the front of the motor.

Next is the vaccum lines, which one goes to what? They are in a different location than on the 1.6 engine. Also what is the black piece?
Located on the intake manifold

Thanks in advance for any help

First picture: green plug is the coolant temp sensor for the ecu, 1.6 sensor needs to be reused.
Black connector with single wire is the coolant temp for the guage, on the 1.6 it is located on the pass side, it's on the driver side for the 1.8.i had to extend mine so it would reach.
Second pic: yep, the one that turns on the fan, if your running the 1.8 thermostat housing then you just ground that wire out and the fan will turn on anytime the key is in the ON position.

Vacuum lines I can take a pic of tomorrow if you still need it.

That black valve is not used with the 1.6 electronics, you can remove it. The two vacuum barbs closest to the throttle body: one goes to the purge valve located on the fender (it's the one on the right side in the pic, routed underneath the intake manifold over to the fender area) , the other goes to the cruise control actuator if you have cruise, if you don't then u can cap it.

On the rear of the manifold you can cap off the barb coming off the passenger side of the manifold . You can use the one on the driver side of the manifold for the fuel pressure regulator (see pic)

You can see where the green plug goes in this pic, easier if the coilpack and cam sensor aren't in the way. The black connector is the dirty gray connector on the lower left side of the pic, a bit tricky to get to.
