any here ever overly concerned with the hot and lean conditions that the #4 cyl. is more subjected to? the hardcore fans do coolant reroutes, dual fan switch, etc.

... i have 3 cold spark plugs with 8 heat range. its non-resistor type.so less chance of miss fire. i'd rather heat wrap headers to keep coolant piping temp down...but no headers =(

what tricks has anyone here have to keep the rear motor and tranny cool?
any ideas before i simply just pop in that cold racing plug in there.

kinda hard to beat the coolant reroute.

As for tranny/diff cooling, if you remove your rear bumper cover, more air will naturally flow across them cooling them. If you really think you are experiencing too much tranny heat, you can always you a cooler with an electric oil pump...

Disconnect cyl#4?

Seriously, though, the best approach isn't any one thing but a combination of things: coolant reroute, dual feed fuel rail, increased heat load capacity (rad, fans, possibly ducting), etc.
One mod will help a little bit, but a combination does more than the individual parts.
