Hey guys,

Are any of you running a 42 offset or lower on your track cars without major arch work? Theres a set of wheels for sale in a staggered fitment of 42F/47R 8/9J and I wanted to run 235 tyres but I'm worried the fronts will badly scrub?

What year Miata do you have? Search around, there's an entire thread called the wheel fitment thread. FYI, the most common offset for a Miata with 15x8's is +36, if that helps.

Since you put this in the race and track prep section, I'm going to assume that you actually track the car. In that case, you don't want staggered wheels. 235 is also too wide for an 8" wheel. Put a 225 on a 15x9, or put a 205 on a 15x8.

I used to run 15x7.5 +42 with 225/45-15 tires. Under full lock the front tires were contacting the RacingBeat solid front swaybar. This was on an NA.
