I'm about to take on the clutch on a Toyota matrix. Maybe. I'm not sure if I want to do it yet. I hate doing clutches on FWD vehicles.
Has anyone done the clutch on a Toyota matrix before?
Are they ridiculously impossible to do or are they average??
Are there any tricks or gremlins I should look out for???

I've done one on a Celica All-Trac. If it's like that, you'll hate yourself. the "easy way" was to drop the engine/tranny/etc out the bottom of the car and then separate it.

Should be easier on the matrix since it's basically a corolla.

Thanks fro the heads up. I've done a 1988 and a 1992 celica before. There isn't much room to work on those under the hood so I see how dropping the engine would be easier to get it done.

Same thing about dropping the motor being the simplest way on the Protege too. What a PITA.
