Hello Ladies, Gentleman, and the rest of you. :mrgreen:

New guy here. I have been burning up most of the Miata forums doing research for my just started but committed to project; a barely streetable track LS1 MX. I've got the car and the engine, so I'm off to a good start I guess.

In the interests of full disclosure, I might not fit in well. I tend to despise poor grammar and "txt tlk", and it drives me bat **** crazy to see mods that slow cars down. Never the less, I promise to keep most of my comments to myself unless I can honestly say they are positive and contribute to the forum.

I need 30 posts to view the classifieds to buy some of you guys stuff, so............I'm off to get the other 28! :mrgreen:

It's not exciting enough for pics yet. It's an L33 long block, which is an aluminum 5.3 with 799 heads for you LS guys.

And as far as the car goes, it's for sure not a beast. I'm having fun driving it, but it's a completely unmolested 96' with whatever package that is that gave it the Torsen II LSD rear. The plan was to part it off immediately to fund the project, but I'm enjoying it so much that I'm going to do the suspension/wheels/tires/exterior first and then do that so I can drive it while I'm amassing parts and building the engine for the swap.
