front strut bars...how many set preloads in them?

how many here actually set preloads on their strut tower bars when installing, or do everyone leave the car where it is and just pop em in ?

these are for the types that have adjustable screws for tension.

miata uses coilovers, not struts. Bars have little to no effect on the front suspension, other than some body stiffening.

mine made a noticable difference in how the front end felt during turning, however it also seems to have increased the speed at which my "shimmying" happens on the freeway (was around 65 or whatever, now its just over 70mph).

+1. but if preloaded to stretch, outwards, does feel tighter and seems to dial in some under. a lil stiffer, so thats good tho.
