I have a tan lotus seat for sale in just about perfect condition. no rips, no tears, no signs of wear except a few knicks on the back plastic. these are the probax versions. it does not come with any brackets. i bought this off another lotus owner and i rather have black ones. i am in NO RUSH to sell it at all so it will be pricey, but it is in immaculate condition. if i cant sell it, i am perfectly happy rocking it in my miata, or reupholstering it.

id ship, but ive never shipped anything this big, and id imagine it being very expensive as well. im also afraid of things like "i never got my package" sort of bs. anyway, price drop agian! 575 obo

It's not that bad. Look on the curbs tomortow and there'll be tons of boxes. If not just take the seat to a UPS store and they'll pack and ship with signature required for delivery along with insurance. You can get an estimate online. Of course that costs money but that seat is very desirable and someone will pay if the price is right and they want it badly enough.

As a buyer, I'm always afraid the seller will just throw my costly purchase into a box without any care and it arrives beaten up. Or, that I won't be home when it arrives and it gets ripped off from the doorstep. I would pay good money to have this shipped to me properly.

hrm, okay ill try and do some research. if i ship, i will only allow the option of getting it insured and tracking. i usually want the buyer to be able to see the seat completely before buying cause i dont want to be held responsible for something weird about the seat of which i may not even know about.

It's automatically insured for the first hundred bucks or so. You'll want to increase it for the actual value. And yes, since this is a high-value item, you'll want to CYA with detailed photos and full disclosure of any wear or damage that doesn't show up well in photos.

If you were selling some old sun visors, no big deal but high-dollar items require a little more due diligence for yourself and the prospective buyer. You're about to make hundreds of dollars...what's a little work?

For reference, to get an exige seat shipped from LA to Bay area cost $35 via UPS ground. I believe the seller shipped from a business address so residential shipment maybe a bit more expensive.

okay, i tried using the online calculator thing and supposedly its going to cost me alittle more than 50 bucks, if anyone really wants it that badly shipped, ill take it to ups and have them do everything for me, but i will only get a accurate quote from the ups store if youre committed to buy. expect 50-100 more dollars than my 575 asking price.
