IRTB's are in, piggyback is in, car wont start. Nothing at all.

Fuel pump primes, battery has enough charge, no solenoids click or anything.

Has anyone had any experience of this or any suggestions?

Also, the immobiliser is deactivating so that isnt the cause.

There is power to the ECU as the subcon lights all come on and seem to be fine.

Please help ASAP

Obvious things, but when you're stressin over a car not starting, things are easy to overlook.

is the starter connected?

did you double check to make sure everything was reconnected under the hood? all the various and sundry connectors? did you unplug the ignition thingy under the dash to purge the fuel?

also, we have returned the ECU to stock to eliminate the piggyback as the problem.

The instructions from fujiracing regarding the installation were appaling.

Yeah, the instructions leave a lot to be desired. Luckily I had a decent mechanic's sense about me so it went pretty smoothly the first time

That's really odd that it won't start. Having gone through two installations without a hitch made me not have to troubleshoot much.

Is it possible to bypass the ignition and put 12V to the starter to see if it still works? I'm really baffled by this since the kit doesn't mess with the ignition system at all aside from depressurizing the fuel system. I'll look in a few books to see what I can uncover.

Right gents,

Just spent the day playing with my new multimeter and it looks like it is just a duff starter motor.

Will get it replaced and then fingers crossed!

Car has developed ANOTHER starting fault.

All the wiring is good, fuel is being supplied ECU fires up.

I really hope the new ECU will take care of all this as its doing my head in!

yes matey - it worked yesterday after having the same problem.

Fiddling around with the screws on the back of the subcon got it running.

I really think its the dodgy ecu as there is no other reason why it wouldnt start.

Is there a known cold start issue with them?

I've been running the Fuji ITBs with subcon for almost 2 years now with no hitch...Well, I say this, but the problem was my own. I reversed the gas lines during the install. The car would turn over, but immediatly die. I've had no other problem since. Dialing in the subcon took a bit to get my bearing with, but afterward everything was right on. I've also had no cold start issues. hmmm perplexing
