These are spec-ed on the Westfield Lotus 7 kit that FM is going to be selling. Anyone heard of them?

Not only heard of them, but have them fitted :D

Well not quite those ones :)
http://www.absolutelyshocks.com/ have worked out valving specific to the mx5 and are selling them through http://www.mx5mad.com/ and http://mx5parts.co.uk/

They're nice, so much nicer than my old stock R-spec bilstens etc...

I've not played with them much and keep meaning to do more suspension wise, ARBs Poly bushes etc...
But so far, beyond a minor squeak I now have from the rear right side I have no complaints.
Didn't Matt run GAZ's on the old SCC car?
They are basically rebranded AVO shocks (GAZ are suppliers to AVO and a bunch of other specialist British suspension brands). The shocks have been out a few years now, but MX5 takeup has only been relatively recent. I'll give them 3 years before deciding if they overcame the problems that the MX5 shocks AVO had.

One criticism I have heard from a MX5 tuning specialist is that they have a ridiculous amount of bounce/rebound adjustment, slight OTT for road use. The condition of the adjuster might be worth keeping an eye on; seems it could get mashed up quickly with dirt.

Thank you, Matt. I couldn't remember for sure :)
