Does anyone else have this problem? I have an 04 MSM with the gt package (canvas softtop) and the canvas is literally splitting away from the glass window at the top of the window where it folds down.

The ripping area looks pretty thin and flimsy, is this fixable? Would a upholstery shop be able to fix this?

The problem is only really apparent when the top is down. Also, anyone have any recs for shops in socal or norcal? Thanks for all the help in advance!

Bump for interest. My 1-year-old Robbins top is splitting in 3 places, including one long tear near the window.

I bought Tear Aid (used for mending inflatable boats) from an Ebay vendor in a 5foot length. I cut a 2" wide length of it and with the top up I stuck it to the inside along the splitting seam to patch it from behind. That was last year and it's still fine now.
