Hello all,

My name is Jonathan Bowen, and I am the Vice President of Georgia Tech's Wreck Racing team. We are a student organization that competes in the annual Grassroots Motorsports $200x Challenge, where we buy and build cars that compete in autocross, drag racing, and concours judging against some of the best tuning shops and individuals in the country. We also participate in various track racing events like GRM's Ultimate Track Car Challenge.

We are bringing our $2010 Challenge-winning supercharged V8 Miata to Caffeine and Octane (in Alpharetta, GA) this Sunday. Come check us out along with all the other great cars. Thanks!

Thanks! A lot of hard work went into it. And yes, the car is still running the 1UZ and auto trans. For those that don't know, we created a trans controller that makes it manually-controlled. We had a paddle shifter setup for the $2010 Challenge and now it is set up rally-style.

The Miata is retired from the Challene, and we will have a new entry for $2012, but you'll just have to wait and see...

Yeah I guess the wording made it seem like that lol. The name of the club originates from the school's song that says, "I'm a ramblin' wreck from Georgia Tech and a helluva engineer."

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.
