Much to my fiance's chagrin, mine has to sit in our second bedroom because I don't have a garage at the apartment. I just lean it against the wall with the back catches on the floor. It's carpeted, so there's no damage, but I did the same thing at my old place without the benefit of a carpeted floor.

My hardtop sits ontop of my (non running) '88 VW GTI with an old blanket in between. The back glass wraps around the top winshield/roof area of the GTI quite nicely. Having small cars makes it easier to have a 1.5 car garage, but my poor GTI is not much more than a storage cabinet now :(

I don't really have a garage. I have an 8x6 shed that's already kinda full. I just need some storage solution so I don't have to have the hardtop on all the time.

I used to just keep it on in the winter. Now I have gotten so used to it I cant take it off. I also like the fact the AC works better with it on.
