Has anyone put one of these on themselves? I repainted my hardtop and removed the old one (it's not reusable because it broke into pieces as I removed it). Anyways, I have a new one. I wanna know if there's a special process, and what kind of adhesive do I need...thanks!

Do you need a glass guy to remove the seal along with the glass and replace it? I was told by my body shop that to do it right and not have any leaks to hire a window guy or whatever technical name you would call their profession. As of now that's the way i plan on doing it. I have the seal waiting right now to be installed once i get a day off and look around for someone to do it.

When i was looking around on other forums of how other ppl were painting their own hardtops, they said that it didnt leak when they had that piece removed. So just masked it after removing the outer seal. I Just fitted it on my car and sprayed it with water and no leaks!
