i just got my differential hoiusing out of my 93.
now im trying to get it split apart ... ive taken out the 8 12mm bolts and ive taken off the propshaft.
i can get a flat screwdriver between the seal but it still wont come apart.
is there something im missing?

You have to either use two pry bars and pry out the stubs , or hit the edges of the stubs with a rubber mallet till they pop out , there is a cir-clip in there that keeps them in and will only let the axle stub out when enough force is applied , this method of course is if you have stubs whitch im assuming you do

i have stubs yes .. i got the out there today by pulling at them with pry bars.
now i cant get 1 back in because of the circlip. theres about an inch of bar showing between the housing and the stub.
how do i get it back in/

Grow a pair and force them in. The clip has to compress in the ridge and pop out when it gets past it.
