i'm pulling my ac today. got the two lines off the compressor. got the four bolts out the compressor and pulled it out. pulled the four bolts that hold the mount to the block, got them out pulled the 12m out of the front and it had oil on it!
is that normal or should i put it back in or just put the compressor mount back on.

You shouldn't have any fluid there. Are you sure it's oil?

It's possible that you might have a small crack in the block.....I'd find a shorter bolt and install it with some Locktite........and then keep my eye on it.

its definitly oil. its from inside the hole not from around it. if it was a crack wouldn't it have dripped on my under cover thing?
